Twin Picketed Passovers

These two bridges for a view remained hidden from us for years and weren’t found until we got off the beaten path with our bicycles riding through a pair of apartment complexes. Though we took our photos sitting on the beautiful bridge to the left, it wasn’t until returning from the opposite direction did we see the TRUE artistic beauty and postcard allure that it really had to offer. With palm tree in the foreground and gazebos on the left it makes a stunning statement all on its own without human intervention.

Both of the bridges are within shouting distance from the other and worth a detour to hunt them down for a visual that will leave you in a Key West State-Of-Mind. You can find these twin picketed passovers on the northern less traveled portion of the island by driving down Seaside Drive. PS – Don’t forget to take a souvenir photo while sitting on or walking across these hidden wooden wonders that you will indeed have to seek out!
