Military, fire rescue, police and medical personnel are honored as part of the annual Heroes Salute Tribute Weekend at Hawks Cay Resort, Villas and Marina, 61 Hawks Cay Blvd. on Duck Key. Highlights of the “heroes in action” Labor Day weekend event, presented in partnership with Firehouse Subs restaurant franchise, include a Friday family fun night with food, games and a movie under the stars, a Saturday morning 5k race and Sunday heroes tributes.
